Product description
The mounting adhesive from Arku is a neutral, elastic one-component mounting adhesive that cures quickly and is odourless. It is free from solvents and phthalates.
The adhesive has good adhesion to many common building materials, including wood, plasterboard, concrete, brick and painted surfaces. It has a high initial strength of up to 300 kg/m² and an ultimate strength of up to 250 tons/m².
The mounting adhesive is sold separately and is intended for mounting the acoustic panels directly onto the ceiling, without screws, drilling or dust.

How much do the acoustic panels weigh?
Arku acoustic panels weigh around 2 kg per m², making them significantly lighter than traditional acoustic boards, which often weigh five to six times as much.
The low weight means that the panels are easier to handle and install, especially when working overhead, where heavy materials can quickly strain the body and shoulders.
At the same time, one person can easily manage the entire installation – without the use of special tools or aids.
Are the materials in Arku ceiling panels safe for the indoor climate?
Yes. Arku acoustic panels are developed with a focus on a healthy and safe indoor climate.
The material is certified for low emissions and tested according to European standards (AgBB), ensuring that no harmful substances are released into the air.
The panels comply with REACH requirements for chemical safety, meaning that they do not contain substances considered harmful to health.
Do Arku acoustic panels emit VOCs?
No. Arku panels are tested according to EN 16516, which measures emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC).
The results show very low emissions – below 0,067 mg/m³ – far below the limit values applicable to building materials.
This means that the panels do not emit odours or unhealthy vapours and contribute to a clean and pleasant indoor climate, even in enclosed rooms.
